Best Woman
Hi family! I’m Maria, also known as “Baker!” I have known Everette since high school as members of the illustrious, ‘Band of Gold.’ The band created the bond but our love, loyalty, dependability, & of course, sense of humor has kept us close for 20+ years! I am honored to stand by my brother as he confesses the unconditional he has for his beloved groom. As we like to say, “This is what love looks like.” I’m ready to shower you both with love & celebrate to your forever & ever. Kind regards,
Best Woman
Groomsman
Where do I begin… Everette and I are technically cousins, but I have always considered us brothers. We were brought up together in our grandma’s daycare. As children, we were inseparable, but unfortunately, I had to move away to Ohio. However, that did not change our relationship. Over the years, despite my growing responsibilities as I got older and started a family, Everette has always supported me in my career, family, and personal growth. Everette epitomizes what it means to be family and an all-around good human.
Groomsman
Everette and I met in the fall of 2008. From the mean street of Boone to the present, Everette has been my brother, and I'm excited for this new chapter in his life.
Bridesmaid
In the fall of 2006, at Harding University High School, God sent me the brother I would choose over those born to me. Everette has filled the brotherly void I so desperately needed. As a fellow saxophone player and member of the Marching Band of Gold, he and I would bond in a way I never imagined. Traveling across the world together, sharing successes and failures. Everette has always inspired me, especially continually chooses to love Steven daily, double the love! Cheers to real love.
Bridesmaid
Everette! I'm thrilled to be one of your bridesmaids. We met in high school while marching band members in 2004, as the years went on, our friendship blossomed and grew into our family bond. I've always known you'd be destined for greatness, and now we're celebrating your wedding! It's remarkable how we attended the same elementary school and crossed paths, knowing the same people. Still, God said, 'Wait, no, I'm going to simmer this bond a little longer, so when they do interact, the friendship will be right on time and everlasting.' Could I imagine my life without you from high school? Whenons changed, you remained constant, and I'll forever be grateful for who you are and what you mean to me.
