We met at a wine event (classic) at Duke in 2014. Everett was almost done with school - at last - and pretending to be an amateur golfer, and Katharine had only begun. From the beginning we loved cooking, wine, casual debates, Duke basketball, and a good adventure once in a while. After school, we landed in New York (after two years of Katharine swearing she'd never move back!) and spent a year exploring the city together. We worked hard, enjoyed our weekends, and along the way we became a "cat couple" - a fact that continues to amuse our friends and family. We're back in the South now and have successfully rekindled our love for porch drinks, sunshine, and living amidst Georgia fans. We're thrilled to have all of our closest friends and family join us in December to kick off the next phase of our journey together!
