After years of fruitless online dating, one December day, we matched on Bumble. The conversation and connection was instantaneous. We got sushi for our first date and walked around Cost Plus World Market. There was a light rain and on our way back to the car, Everest claimed his umbrella wasn't working to get closer to Nadia. He surprised Nadia with a goodbye peck on the cheek. Then Nadia got covid! And it was a blessing in disguise; nonstop video chatting, watching movies together through facetime, and so much anticipation until finally we were able to see each other in person once again. From there, we got into a date war, each of us trying to outdo the other: First minigolf, then the Oscars museum, then laguna beach, then Santa Barbara, it wasn't until we had driven up the entire 1 pacific highway that we called a truce. We got engaged in Laguna Beach in April of 2023, and are beyond excited to finally be getting married.
