FAQs

If you have any other questions that are not answered below, feel free to text us at 616.430.5542. Thank you!
Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can click the RSVP tab above and RSVP at any time before the due date. We are also including a QR code in the paper invitation that takes you to the RSVP page. We are not accepting mailed RSVPs.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVP information will be provided in the invitations. We ask you to please RSVP by April 30, 2026.

Question

What if I do not RSVP in time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by May 27, 2026, you will be marked as "not attending." We would love to celebrate with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVPs. This will mean you are not allowed to show up to our special day. There will be no seating, food, or drink accommodations for you.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We'd love to include everyone, but due to limited space, only guests who received a plus one on their invitation can bring a guest. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Yes, if your invitation was addressed to your whole family. There will be a playground, yard games, and table games to entertain them.

Question

What is the time of arrival and timeline of the day?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30pm. We ask that you arrive at least 30 minutes early. The cocktail hour will begin promptly at 4:15pm following the ceremony. The reception will begin promptly at 5pm following the cocktail hour. More information about the schedule for the day can be found in the "Schedule" tab above.

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

There are two separate parking lots for the ceremony and reception. The ceremony venue is a bit of a walking distance away from the reception venue so feel free to use both if needed. Here is a link to access the park map: https://www.kentcountymi.gov/DocumentCenter/View/7161/Fallasburg-Park-Meet-Up-Map-2025?bidId=

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

This event does not have a strict dress code, but we encourage semi-formal garden attire. The ceremony will be outdoors and warm. Think breathable fabrics, and don’t shy away from colors or prints, excluding white. Most importantly, wear what makes you feel comfortable and ready to celebrate!

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present during our special day. We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us, and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. During the cocktail hour and reception, feel free to take as many photos and videos you would like!

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

There will not be a formal bar, but we will be providing enough drinks for cocktail hour.

Question

Will there be dancing?

Answer

While we're never going to stop you from dancing, this is intended to be a truly casual event - so there's no dancefloor. Dinner and time together are the main activities :)

Question

Are there hotel accommodations?

Answer

There are a number of hotel accommodation options in the area. We recommend booking early, as the Grand Rapids area can be popular this time of year.
