The Hewing Hotel Rooftop Bar is a popular spot to grab drinks and enjoy the summer weather and city views. Definitely a favorite for a night out in the North Loop!

One of our favorite restaurants in Minneapolis that serves the best pasta. Key items to order: soft eggs and lobster bruschetta (trust us) and the mushroom & taleggio agnolotti. Make sure to get a reservation!
Martina
Argentinian restaurant with fresh food and lovely cocktails that is close to our house in the Linden Hills neighborhood. Head over to Sebastian Joe's after for an ice cream cone and go for a walk around Lake Harriet (Willie and Evelyn's daily lake walk/run)
Indeed Brewing Company and Taproom
A fav Minneapolis brewery with lots of great ales. Check out Centro across the street for amazing tacos and guac that you can get delivered to the brewery.
Stone Arch Bridge
The Stone Arch Bridge, located in the St. Anthony Main neighborhood, is a beautiful part of Minneapolis that is surrounded with cute bars/restaurants on each side
Bde Maka Ska
Bde Maka Ska is one of the three main lakes located in South Minneapolis. The loop is 3.1 miles around. Enjoy beautiful scenery on a walk, or rent bikes or scooters located throughout the surrounding lake area. The boat house rents out kayaks/canoes, and paddle boats. Willie and Evelyn frequently run around this lake!
Downtown Wayzata (Lake Minnetonka)
So many great things to say about Lake Minnetonka. If you're looking for entertainment, head to downtown Wayzata to go shopping and eat at one of their many restaurants (Cov for the views, Josefina and Macanda for the food). For the authentic Lake Life experience, rent a boat for the afternoon, cruise around, people watch, and dock the boat at Maynard's in Excelsior for a beer (our recommendation).
