We began our story as just friends. However, as time went on we slowly became close. On a whim we planned a cruise to Mexico and it was on this trip that we fell in love with each other. Cruises soon became our thing and each year we plan one together.

In January of last year we planned a much needed cruise to Mexico. Tyeler had this mystery box that was supposed to be a Christmas present, however, I was not allowed to open it until we were on the ship. Although it wasn’t a small box, a part of me thought maybe it could be a ring, however, Tyeler being the persuasive man he is convinced me otherwise. Anyone who knows Tyeler knows marriage wasn’t in the cards for him. So you can imagine my surprise when he proposed. It occurred one beautiful evening on the balcony of the cruise ship, Tyeler told me to open my present and inside the box was a 24 KT rose. At first I was confused. I could not at the time see the ring tied to it. This is when Tyeler pretended to help me open it and bent down on one knee, pulled out the ring, and asked me to be his wife. Of course I said "YES," and just like that we were engaged. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
