Our Love Story
Our journey began over 31 years ago in 4th grade, in Ms. Pappalardo’s class at P.S. 121x. Evelyn was the shy new student, and Terell was the quiet but popular kid. Through elementary and junior high, we knew each other but hung in different crowds, and by high school we went separate ways. Though we lived just blocks apart and even had children in the same school, life kept us on different paths. It wasn’t until our sons, Evan and Nazir, became best friends in 3rd grade that our worlds began to connect. A few years later, we found ourselves at events with mutual friends, still unaware of what God was preparing. In March 2019, everything changed. Our friendship grew into undeniable love, our communication became unmatched, and our families blended seamlessly.
On March 30, 2024, Terell proposed. We believe “what God has joined together, let no one separate.” Today, we are blessed, grateful, and excited to make official what has always been written in our hearts.
