Question
What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
Answer
Our dress code is Cocktail Attire. For women, an above-the-knee hem (or any length) is appropriate. For men, they can wear a suit (tie optional) or sports jacket and dress shirt.

What will the weather be like this time of year?
Answer
Maryland weather can be unpredictable however we are hoping to enjoy mild temperatures as we will be celebrating at the start of April.

How do we get to the venue?
Answer
Directions from Washington D.C. Take 270N which turns into 15N. Pass Frederick exits, take Rt. 26 East, go through 3 lights and get into the right lane when crossing the bridge at the Monocacy River to stay on Rt. 26, follow for 2.3 miles to Mt. Pleasant. Turn right on Kelly Rd. Turn right on McKaig Rd. Driveway entrance located 3/4 mile on left. Directions from Baltimore Take I-70W to exit 62. Turn north on Rt 75. At the first light, turn left on Old National Pike (Rt. 144). Pass through New Market, turn right on Boyers Mill Rd for 5 miles. Go through two stop signs onto McKaig Rd (Boyers Mill changes its name to McKaig at the second stop sign). Entrance is 1/2 mile on right. Directions from the North Take I-70E to Frederick. Take 15N. Pass Frederick exits, take Rt. 26 East, go through 3 lights and get into the right lane when crossing the bridge at the Monocacy River to stay on Rt. 26, follow for 2.3 miles to Mt. Pleasant. Turn right on Kelly Rd. Turn right on McKaig Rd. Driveway entrance located 3/4 mile on left.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

There will be free parking at the venue. There will be signs directing you to the appropriate parking lots.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive half an hour before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is seated on time.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?
Answer
Both Ceremony and Reception will be celebrated at Morningside Inn. 7477 McKaig Rd, Frederick, MD 21701

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting, and the reception will be indoors.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

What happens after the ceremony?
Answer
After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures. Guests can head straight to the reception hall, where we will be serving hors d'oeuvres and beverages during cocktail hour.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?
Answer
Thank you in advance for sending your RSVP before February 5, 2025. You can mail back the card enclosed in your invitation or simply RSVP right here on our wedding website.

Will dinner be served at the reception?
Answer
Yes! We will have a plated dinner for all of our guests. We will also have an open bar for all to enjoy. Please drink responsibly!

What if I have dietary restrictions?

If you have any dietary restrictions, food allergies, etc please make sure to indicate this when you RSVP.

Where are you registered?
Answer
Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for. We are extremely lucky to have love, laughter and house full of furniture, so if you'd like to help us celebrate with a gift, we will gratefully accept contributions towards our honeymoon.
