American River Parkway
We've loved visiting the American River for rafting, kayaking and paddle boarding, Labor day gets busy on the water and might not be the best day to visit. There are many trails and different entrances along the waterway too if enjoying the outdoors is how you'd like to spend your time!

Local brewery that creates a wide range of beers from lagers, porters, and IPA's to our preferred choice of pastry or smoothie sours. Saturday Midtown Farmer's Market
Shop from small farmers, makers, and artisans. Streets are closed off in Sacramento's grid. Bring a tote and some comfortable walking shoes to explore the gems. The market operates from 8:00 AM-1:00 PM Live entertainment between 10:30 AM-12:00 PM Free children's activities In addition to street parking, there are nearby parking lots available for visitors. DOCO - Downtown Commons
The Sacramento Kings will be off-season, but many great events happen year-round at the Golden One Center. Within DOCO, there are many places to shop, eat, and entertainment options. Estelle Bakery & Patisserie, Häagen-Dazs, Tipsy Putt, and Yard House are some of the places we've enjoyed visiting!
Drake's: The Barn
Drake’s: The Barn is a landmark two-acre community gathering spot, featuring food, beer, wine, cocktails and entertainment along the river in West Sacramento’s Bridge District. Relax in the beer garden, on beach chairs with lawn games in the large open meadow, around a fire pit, or underneath the wing of this architectural landmark.
