Connor and I have known each other for a long time because our families run in the same circles. I knew who Connor was but never really had a friendship with him. I remember playing behind the Gallic house on Mary Street with one of his cousins and seeing him run down the stairs in purple sneakers and thinking, whoa, he's cool. He had a motorcycle too, I mean, c'mon. Luckily, we didn't interact until years later when we had both matured enough. All of a sudden Connor started showing up at social events like mutual friends' birthday parties and I found myself contemplating if I was interested in Connor Gallic. I distinctly remember driving in a car with a friend and saying, "If I date Connor Gallic, I feel like I'll never be single again." Turns out I know myself well. We went on our first date in Morristown, NJ and as I listened to him talk about his job, nervously push his hair out of his eyes, and tell me about the books he was reading, I found him adorably irresistible. He told me he loved me a few weeks later, and he asked me to marry him for the first time maybe a year after that. I answered him 2 years later when he officially asked in a field of sunflowers and we couldn't be more excited for October 9th to arrive! Can't wait to celebrate with you all! -Evy and Connor
