When should I be there and where should I go?
Answer
Plan to be there by 10:45am EST! If you are a little early, that is fabulous. The doors open at 10:35am. The ceremony is in Salons D&E, (reserved from 11:00am to 12:00pm). If you walk into the front doors of the Marriott and immediately take a left, you will be there! The cocktail hour will be in the Crabtree Foyer (12:00pm to 1:00pm) and the reception will be in the Crabtree Ballroom (1:00pm to 4:00pm). The ceremony and reception are both at the same venue, so you will not need to travel by car anywhere else for the duration of the wedding.

I am travelling far! Where should I stay?

Charlie and Evelyn's venue is the Crabtree Marriott Valley Hotel! The venue is a bloc of rooms at a discounted rate ($159 per room) for the Voegeli/Barth wedding for the dates 6/6/25, 6/7/25, and 6/8/25. You can make your reservation for any/all of the dates listed above. To reserve a room, there are two options. 1. Call the Marriott and identify yourself as part of the Voegeli/Barth Wedding for the discounted rate. Their phone number is (919) 781-7000. 2. What's the menu?

We will offer hors d'oeuvres during the cocktail hour. Since we are hosting a morning wedding, there will be a buffet with various breakfast-style options, including some sweets for the kids, during the reception! The entire menu will be gluten-free and there will be dairy-free options. All will be labeled accordingly.

Is this venue accessible?

Absolutely!!!! At the back of the parking lot, there is a ramp to the inside of the venue. From there, the ceremony will be held on the opposite side of the hotel. There will be people and signs to help guide you! There are also accessible bathrooms! If anyone needs to step out at any time due to being overwhelmed or if kids need to run around - that is absolutely okay!! If you have any worries about accessibility, please reach out to Evelyn! We want everyone to feel welcome!

What about parking?

There is a big parking lot at the hotel that all are free to park in. If there is no parking available at the hotel, there is parking at the Crabtree Valley Mall across the street. Crabtree Valley Mall Address: 4325 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612 The mall and the hotel are a 3-minute walk apart, with a crosswalk at the intersection.

It will most definitely be hot and most likely humid in June! The average temperature in June is 86 degrees.

If you have a plus one, it will be indicated on your invitation as "and guest." Kids and babies are welcome!

We will not have an open bar or cash bar. We are providing brunch cocktails during the cocktail hour and a champagne toast during the reception.

To start, the Crabtree Valley Mall is right across the street! They have plenty of department stores and food options like: - Crabtree Ale House - Kabobi - Seasons 52 - The Cheesecake Factory and more! They also have a Starbucks and a Chick-Fil-A!
