We can't wait to celebrate with all of you!

It all started back in 7th grade. We met through mutual friends from the different four towns. Our friendship consisted of texting and OOVOO video chats since Facetime didn't exist back then. We were friends throughout those years and started hanging out more during our sophomore year in high school but our relationship didn't really start until junior year when they were given nearly identical schedules, so big shoutout to the OT guidance counselors that made our schedules. From Physics, Math, Gym, and our free periods, to walking each other to Psychology or Spanish and lunch in the South Gym since then we have spent almost every day together.

After spending so many days together we finally decided to go on our first date on December 23rd, 2014, where we went ice skating. Our best friends asked each other to figure out if we liked each other and Sam said "I mean I guess kinda like her"... Apparently in boy world that really means "Yeah I really do like her"

We decided to take a trip to Italy in November 2022. Despite being an awful liar, Sam somehow managed to buy the ring (back in February) and bring it to Italy with a plan to propose. On day 3 of our trip we went to Cinque Terre, Sam was very insistent that we dress nice and make a specific train, because he arranged for a photographer to be hiding in plain sight at a scenic lookout. Evelin clearly not picking up any hints did not want to dress nice and wanted to be comfy, and was busy taking pictures, but we still managed to make the train. Sam made sure we made it to the scenic lookout at the exact time and place the photographer was waiting for us ready to take the photos. Finally, when Evelin turned around, Sam got the ring out and proposed. Evelin was absolutely shocked since she was not expecting this at all...even with all the hints throughout the trip.
