The ceremony and the reception will both be at The Bissell Treehouse at John Ball Zoo! The ceremony will take place outside on the back deck of The Bissell Treehouse. The reception will take place inside of the The Bissell Treehouse. PLEASE dress accordingly for the weather and bring any necessary accessories such as umbrellas, hats, scarves and coats. Also, please see FAQ related to timeline!
You will park in the main zoo parking lot. Then proceed to the main zoo entrance across the parking lot. The zoo will have signs and staff to direct you as to where you need to go to catch the shuttle. The shuttles will stop running around 6:15pm after the wedding, so please make sure you plan your departure accordingly.
1. Please no smoking on zoo property at anytime during the wedding ceremony and reception. This includes vapes and e cigs. 2. We will be having animal meet and greet between ceremony and reception-please follow the caretakers instructions to keep the animals and everyone else. 3. Please have a good time but make sure we are being respectful of everyone else in the area. 4. Our wedding at the Bissell Treehouse will be a private event. This means that the people visiting the zoo will not be allowed to go into the area of the event. If there any concerns, please reach out to bridesmaid Christina or Rachel as well as the event staff for the venue before going to the bride and groom. Thank you!
The amount of guests on the invite is what we have accounted for with catering and venue space. Please do not add additional guests to your RSVP than were on your invitation. RSVPs WILL BE DUE August 20th, 2024. If we do not hear from you, we will assume you're not coming. Please make sure to RSVP by then!

1. Dinner: Taco Bar from Martha's Catering! 2. Drinks: We will be having Coke products and water at the wedding. No alcohol will be served for a multitude of reasons. 3. Dancing: We will be having a DJ throughout the entirety of the wedding. Song requests will be accepted.
You're allowed to take pictures if you'd like! HOWEVER, please do not interfere or get into the photographer's way. She will be getting first dibs on all photo opportunities! Thanks!
