We're getting married!

Catie and Nick grew up just a few steps away from each other. They spent their Sundays at the same church, where Nick’s dad was the youth pastor, and later found themselves sitting side by side in band class. Catie couldn’t resist trying to make Nick laugh (usually getting him in trouble), and before long, her little crush wasn’t much of a secret—at least not to their moms. Nick, of course, was a little slower to catch on. He thought of Catie as “one of the guys,” since she was always playing basketball with him at church functions. Luckily, his dad gave him the best advice of all: that he’d be crazy not to ask her out. So, he did. Their very first date was bowling—with his parents cheering them on. At the end of the summer, Nick asked, “What are you going to tell people when we go back to school?” Catie smiled and said, “I don’t know… are we dating?” And just like that, their story began. What started with church pews, band chairs, and a bowling alley has grown into a lifetime of laughter, love, and a promise of forever.
