Eve and Thi met when Thi moved to the Chicago suburbs from Virginia in 8th grade. She quickly assimilated into their group of friends and she and Eve have been inseparable ever since! From middle school to high school, college roommates, and all the debauchery and adventures thereafter, she knows she and Thi will always be best friends despite wherever Thi decides to live that year. Few have overcome more than her in life and still stayed so true in heart and spirit. She has a zest for life that is so pure and raw. Thi is a nomadic soul who recently moved to Vietnam so she’s making quite the trek to stand by Eve’s side on her wedding day - but their bond goes beyond national borders.

Joe and Thomas have been best friends for half of their lives. United by a common love of live music, adventure, and occasional mischief; they have been largely inseparable for years. Joe and Thomas have been through thick and thin, supporting each other like brothers when the other needed them. Joe really is family, and Thomas is looking forward to their inside jokes and instagram meme chats continuing to make Eve frustrated for the rest of their lives.

Eve and Maggie have been best friends since elementary school and went through all the stages of life together - from making cringey YouTube videos as preteens to holding each other’s hair back on trips to Cabo, and navigating the ups and downs of their 20s and beyond. Every time someone’s in the room with Maggie her infectious personality and sense of humor turn the entire place into a giggle fest. Throw a heart of gold in there and you’ve got Mags! She’s been an absolute anchor in their friend group and in Eve’s life.

Thomas and Eve couldn't imagine a better friend to stand at the altar with them. Thomas met Nic at the infamous Summer Camp Music Festival. Turning to his friend Brian, he asked, 'Do you know the cool-looking dude in the denim jacket and crispy white Stetson cowboy hat?' Brian did, and Thomas worked up the courage to invite Nic to join he and Victor at their favorite bands next set. The three had the Moe.st fun together, and that night forged a friendship that Thomas (and now Eve) will cherish forever. Nic is an amazingly kind and caring person, a true light in the world, and a wonderful friend. “Slowly on the silver sun swept fields are falling away Hieroglyphics hide and seek, inside the sky of yesterday. From childhood sleepovers to adult adventures, Jen has always been a one-of-kind, uplifting soul with an incredible sense of humor (and fashion). She’s a constant stream of radiance and the one you can’t help but fall in love with - whether she realizes it or not. To know her is to love her and Eve is so blessed to have had her as a wonderful friend through all these years.

Thomas always said he wanted to find a woman like Jake to marry (so weird). He still wonders if Eve has made the cut, but that’s because Jake is such a hard guy to compete with. One of the kindest and most inspiring individuals Thomas has had the pleasure of knowing, Jake is a friend to everyone he meets. The two spent a few years rooming together at Leavitt and Armitage, where their friendship grew into the bond they have today. Thomas can always call Jake and ask advice, or chat over life, and know that he has a true friend on his side. Bucktown boys for life.

Eve and Kristen have basically known each other since the womb. Their friendship has withstood the test of time and Eve is grateful that Kristen has accepted every version of her growing up. She’s become more than a friend, but a true sister to Eve’s family (and maybe even a future sister-in-law!). We all need a spicy but true friend to tell you like it is and Eve is lucky to have that and so much more in Kristen.

George and Thomas spent the most transformative years of their lives together adjoined at the hip. The two spent endless hours cruising in Thomas white Buick Century, wreaking havoc around the northwest suburbs. Distance didn’t ruin their friendship, and although George moved to Portland 10 years ago, they still remain the best of friends. Gawgie and Klingdaddy - what a couple of rascals we were.

Has there ever been a better friend in life than a big brother? Thomas will always remember the hours they spent together building Legos (though Thomas was more likely to dismantle John's intricate creations), playing Command and Conquer or Baldur's Gate, and discussing Lord of the Rings or other nerdy fantasies. The two have more in common than differences, and Thomas will always look up to his big brother. John is the embodiment of kindness, nerdy humor, and an all-around amazing human. He has always been, and will always be, Thomas' role model and best friend.
Kristopher Klingner

Thomas has known Kristopher his entire life, and somehow they are both still breathing. The younger brother of an antagonistic instigator, Kristopher had to learn survival tactics early on. So I gave him that!! He should be grateful. In all seriousness though, Thomas could not be more proud of the man his little brother has become. Intelligent, kind, and annoyingly funny, he is a person that anyone can get along with (although his perpetual sarcasm may leave some people confused). The Eagle Scout of the family, chemist, and Sober Sally, Kristopher may be the best of us all. I’m glad he survived the gauntlet of my big brotherhood, and is going to stand next to me on my wedding day.
