-West Side Market for a fun indoor market with foods from all over -Cleveland Museum of Art for an amazing free art museum -The Cleveland Aquarium (it's quite small but we love it and it's great for kids) -The Cleveland Botanical Garden (if you have kids, be sure to check out the outdoor kids section. It's incredible!) ***a large portion of the indoor area has closed for maintenance recently. The kids outdoor area remains amazing and worth the trip!*** -Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (touristy, but fun if you have a band or artist you'd really like to check out there) -Holden Arboretum (a bit of a drive but incredibly gorgeous grounds for walking. We love the Canopy Walk and Emergent Tower lookout. They also have a ton of playgrounds for kids.)
-Masons Creamery for ice cream -Mitchells for ice cream + a peek at the process with their kitchen -Larder for an amazing James Beard nominated Jewish deli -Patron Saint for European cafe vibes -Juneberry Table for good chill brunch -16 Bit Bar+Arcade for unlimited free games and drinks (kid friendly before 8pm) -The Roaming Biscuit for breakfast sandwiches -Lekko for good coffee near a view of the city -The Judith for small cozy French cafe vibes -Il Rione for what we think is the best pizza in Cleveland (gets pretty busy - call beforehand or reserve if you can) -Edgewater Park for big lakefront park with the Cleveland Script Sign -Wendy Park for more secluded park by the lake
-Corbo's bakery for famous Cleveland cassata cake and great tiramisu -Presti's bakery for pastries and coffee - good place to sit and enjoy time with a larger group -Mount Granita for Italian ice -Murray Hill market for sandwiches -Just kind of a fun area to walk around. There's Italian restaurants but we haven't tried any so can't really suggest!
-Martha on the Fly for the best breakfast sandwich in Cleveland (very limited seating, but it's close to a small nearby park "Camp Cleveland" that overlooks the skyline) -Rising Star for good coffee and excellent bagels (only available in the morning) -Lucky's Cafe for Guy Fieri approved brunch grub -Christmas Story House if that's your thing! -Lil Ronnies for by-the-slice pizza (limited outside seating) -Just a good area to walk around with many beautiful historic churches
