We met in high school, but our story began over Facebook Messenger (2009). Before you knew it, we used just about every flirtatious emoji there was: kissy face, heart eyes, heart, and blushing emoji. We continued to date throughout senior year, but never became serious. Fast forward, Jason returns from Tuskegee U., and like a fairy tale, asks me to be his girlfriend (2012). Since then, we have created countless memories, tackled challenges, grown in wisdom, become comedians, had exciting adventures, and deepened our love for one another. November 2024, Jason proposes in a perfect setting. Denver mountains, Christmas lights and red and green decor, crisp air, and the smell of pine. A dream come true, and just like that, on November 5, 2026, my Prince Charming and I are tying the knot.
