For their belated one year anniversary, Nathan picked Julia up with beautiful flowers and took her out to their favorite sushi restaurant in Naperville 🍣 After a delicious dinner (s/o Blue Sushi) they decided to take a walk along the river—Probably about ten steps into their walk, Nathan got down on one knee and in a happy-nervous blur asked Julia to marry him. It was an easy yes, celebrated with cheering and clapping from the other rivergoers. Instead of continuing their walk, Nathan insisted on going to another restaurant for dessert immediately. Julia discovered why he insisted when she walked in and found a surprise engagement party filled with her friends and family celebrating. It was such a special and joy-filled evening ❤️
