Tyler and Savannah’s story technically began at Talladega Superspeedway in October of 2019, but they didn’t actually speak. Savannah happened to notice Tyler when he jumped onto the back of a moving truck bed she was crammed into with over ten other people. He was part of a larger group of friends-of-friends, and while there was no interaction, he definitely caught her eye. A few months later, fate stepped in. Savannah was visiting friends in her old college town of Carrollton, Georgia, coincidentally, the same area Tyler is from. As she walked out of a bar, Tyler was walking in. She recognized him instantly and said, “Hey! I know you! I saw you at Talladega…” And in a bold move that was totally unlike her, she asked for his number. One year and first date later, Savannah just knew, this was it. She was going to marry him one day. And now, here they are, turning that daydream into reality!
