Frequently Asked Questions
Question

RSVP is REQUIRED

Answer

Please let us know whether you can make it or not so we can have an accurate headcount. A response of "Yes" ensures you and your family/guest have a chair available for the ceremony and reception, as well as a plate for the reception. Please LIST each attendees name on the RSVP card and return in the pre-stamped envelope. For those who are UNABLE to attend, your response indicating this allows us to accommodate to other guests and their significant others and/or children. If you are able to attend and given a "+ guest" on your invitation envelope, but will not be bringing a guest, please let us know so we can offer it to other guests.

Question

May we bring our kid(s) to the wedding?

Answer

Does your invitation ENVELOPE say "Family"? If yes, your spouse and children were included in our headcount. If your invitation includes your child(ren), please feel free to bring them! We plan to have yard games to accommodate all ages! **Please note, we will NOT have highchairs or children's booster seats available. Please plan to bring a stroller, booster seat, highchair, etc. as appropriate. If "Family" is NOT listed on the invitation envelope, please reach out directly to the bride and groom to verify if we can accommodate them. We will likely be able to accommodate, but need to have an accurate head count and may need to verify with our vendors. ***Again, please note that we will NOT have booster seats and highchairs. You will need to bring whatever works best for your child.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Invitation envelopes that have your name " + Guest" include a plus one. If your envelope did not include a guest, please reach out directly to the bride or groom. Additional guests, that are not familiar with the bride and groom, will initially be reserved for family and friends that need special accommodations. We anticipate that we can accommodate additional guests IF you reach out directly to the bride and groom so an accurate headcount can be obtained. If you do NOT notify the bride and groom, there may not be a chair or plate available for unannounced guests.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Comfortable shoes! If the weather cooperates, the wedding will be entirely outside. The ground may be uneven in certain areas, and we strongly encourage guests to re-think those stiletto heals! Suggested attire is garden attire or smart casual. We want you to be comfortable, but photo ready! A polo shirt/slacks, blouse/nice jeans, and loafers are also acceptable. Family members should expect to be in family photos, please dress accordingly. We plan to share these photos with you and the family!

Question

What is included on the gift registry?

Answer

What we really desire is your presence, not your presents! However, we have several options available for our guests that would like to give a gift. 1) Honeymoon Fund: Choose from a number of meal or adventures/activities on our honeymoon. 2) Amazon Registry or gift card 3) Feeling sentimental? So are we! Just share your favorite recipe! * In addition to a recipe, please include a brief description including any of the following: Where did you get this recipe? Why is it important to you? Why is it one of your favorites? Do you have any suggestions on when to use it? (holidays, parties, season, etc.).

Question

Special Needs and Accommodations

Answer

We have a number of family members and friends that may need special accommodations. While we know and love each of you, we do not always know what would be most helpful for you. Please consider what you may need to make this event more enjoyable for you! We love each of you, and are happy to accommodate when it is within our power. Do you plan on having a wheelchair/seated walker, and having a little more space at the table would be helpful? Will your child be in a stroller or highchair and having more space at the table would be helpful? Do you have food allergies or dietary restrictions? Are you sensitive to sounds, and would like to be placed as far away from any music as possible? Please let us know any concerns you have so we can work with you!

Question

My invite only has an RSVP for the ceremony, am I invited to the reception?

Answer

Yes! We assume if you are able to attend the ceremony that you will be able to attend the reception. We just did not want to overwhelm people with having to RSVP to multiple things!
