No, this isn’t a wedding—we actually got married on March 19, 2020 at a courthouse just the two of us. From the beginning, we always said we’d plan some sort of celebration, and we promised ourselves (and our families) we’d do it by our 5th anniversary. So here we are... 5.5 years later! Think of this as a laid-back reception or anniversary party. While we may include a few “first dances” or small nods to tradition, the evening will mostly be about good food, great music, and celebrating with the people we love.
Yes! All babies and kids are welcome. We’re planning to have a kid-friendly station with fun activities to help keep them entertained. You’re welcome to have them stay as long or as little as you’d like—whatever feels best for your family. I also understand the celebration goes until 9 pm, which might be too late for some kids (including probably our own), but unfortunately, that was the earliest time available. No pressure either way, but Lincoln and Saxa will definitely be there!
We're keeping things semi-formal, but with a laid back vibe! For the ladies, feel free to wear a nice dress, jumpsuit, heels, or sandals-whatever you're comfortable in. Gentlemen, can skip the suit jackets and go with button-up shirts paired with nice pants. Sneakers or dress shoes both work great. Basically, dress up, but make sure you're comfy enough to enjoy the night!
While we won't have a shuttle available, there are plenty of Ubers and local taxi services in the area to make getting around easy.
Spring Lake Manor has a spacious parking lot with plenty of parking for guests.
There are several transportation options available, including renting a car, booking a driving service, ordering an uber, or coordinating rides with other family and friends to the area. Nathan and I are more than willing to help with airport pick-ups and drop-offs as much as we can. Please reach out to one of us to coordinate.
