Evan & Vanessa first crossed paths in the cafeteria of Alamo Junior High in Midland, Texas. After some smiles were exchanged, & notes were passed, it became official – Evan & Vanessa were boyfriend & girlfriend! After a few weeks Vanessa decided to break up with Evan… on his 13th birthday and the day he had a huge basketball game against our rival, Abell Junior High. Fast-forward to the 4th quarter, there’s 30 seconds left on the clock, Evan gets the ball, and makes the game winning three-pointer! Vanessa immediately knew she made a mistake and needed to get Evan back, so she asked him back out of course. Unfortunately, the answer was no. Years later the two made their way back to one another. Vanessa was a student at Texas State University and Evan was at Texas Tech. Those 7th grade love letters they used to write became long texts, and the two soon realized they could no longer be apart. In 2016 Vanessa graduated and moved to Lubbock, Texas. & they’ve been inseparable since. 4 years later, Evan popped the question – and Vanessa said yes! We are so looking forward to starting this new chapter together, and can’t wait to celebrate with all of our favorite people in Puerto Vallarta!
