Dreams Dominicus La Romana does not provide a free shuttle to and from the airport at Punta Cana. However, there are cabs available and also private shuttle options, that latter of which we will be trying to coordinate for our guests later on. PLEASE make sure you RSVP and follow up with us once your flights are booked!!!
The safety of our family and friends is of the upmost importance to us, so due to recent events, we reached out to Dreams directly about their security measures. The following is their response: Guest safety and security remains a top priority for AMResorts as we understand how important it is that people feel safe while enjoying their vacation. Strict protocols and procedures are in place at each property for guest security, including but not limited to, the following: -- 24/7 monitoring of resort areas is in place, including the beaches, via closed circuit television (CCTV). -- Resort properties are fenced, and the perimeters are patrolled by security agents. -- Main gates are always supervised by a security agent and resort access is actively monitored. -- Regular trainings are conducted for resort staff ensuring they are equipped to recognize and respond to a range of situations and support guest safety.
-- All security agents are trained in emergency protocols and procedures, as well as physical safety techniques -- Following any incident, we take additional steps to assess and identify key learnings to continue enhancing processes and training, as needed. -- We provide strong protocols and training to for our hotel partners to deliver speedy, transparent and clear guest communications.
