ONCE UPON A TIME

Evan was heading back home from school and had an intractable craving for ice cream. He decided to try out a local ice cream shop called Creamistry in Carmel Valley for the first time. He found the shop to be empty except for the worker and one other customer. After watching the other customer pour what seemed like every topping imaginable on top of her several scoops of different ice cream flavors, Evan decided to go with one of the store creations. After paying for his ice cream, he turned around and locked eyes with the other customer. In no time, the two were sharing a table, talking about their utmost love for ice cream and their story took off from there.

Ro and Evan took a family trip to the ever so beautiful Maui Island. Evan planned a walk along the gorgeous beach of Ka'anpali. Evan was so nervous that Ro was going to see the ring box inside of his pocket the entire time as they walked towards the perfect spot that Evan had picked out previously. Once Evan found the opening in between the bushes, his nerves grew as he led Ro to the beach front. There, with the crystal blue ocean at their feet and the gorgeous island of Lanai in the backdrop, Evan announced his love to Ro, dropped down on one knee and asked Ro to marry him. Evan can't remember having been so nervous in his life, but she said yes! Evan felt and still feels like the luckiest guy on earth while Ro couldn't be happier or prouder to call Evan hers.
