Maid of Honour
Alessandra is one of my gorgeous younger sisters! She is so kind, thoughtful and always willing to sacrifice for others. When we would play house, she would volunteer to be the boy, so I could be the girl. LOL Our friendship grew over the years and now she is my very best friend. I cannot imagine my life without her. She always has my back, plans the best surprise parties, and helped Evan pick THE PERFECT RING. You are the real MVP. Ps. She just got married in May, so if you see her - say Congrats!
Best Man
I met Josiah in an MBA class in Wales, halfway across the world and I've stuck pretty close to him for the last 6 or 7 years. At different points in that time I've known Josiah as a classmate, a colleague, a co-worker, a co-founder, a boss, a mentor, and a teacher. But through it all, I've called him a friend. And now, I can call him Best Man.
Bridesmaid
Graziella is my beautiful baby sister!!! Not only is her name incredibly pretty, she is wise beyond her years and is incredibly talented. Her smile will brighten up a whole room and her sense of humor is on point. She will always make you laugh and can bust out the BEST dance moves. Her heart is full of love and she has been such an amazing friend to me. Ps. Grazy is starting University in September!! Ask her about what she will be studying!
Groomsman
I met Garrett in grade 9 drama class. We both had moved to Orillia just before grade 9 so we were the new kids on the block. He was shy and I was random and weird, so we mostly kept to ourselves. Until I started getting interested in music and remembered Garrett as the guy whose only words I'd heard him say were while singing the Aladdin theme song. But dang, he was a good singer! So I randomly asked if he'd join one of our jam sessions and he shyly accepted. We went on to record multiple songs, play multiple venues across Ontario, and crush many P90x workouts together. Garrett was the best kind of friend that anybody could ever ask for growing up. He was reliable, humble, and hilarious. Despite living in Alberta now, we still connect regularly.
Bridesmaid
Alicia was my very first friend as a child!!!! We met in the womb (our parents are friends) and instantly became friends when we were kids. My earliest memories with Alicia include going over to her house EVERY DAY after school for years and playing house together. No matter the distance, Alicia has always been a rock and encourager. We shared ALL of our childhood hopes and dreams throughout the years and we continue to do so. I am so thankful I can count on her. She is the type of friend that EVERYONE needs. Ps. She is having her first baby in November!!! Ask her how it's going!
Groomsman
Matt is my longest and most consistent friend on this list. We met at some point in grade 9, in a random hallway, as I remember it, and have been fast friends ever since. Although Matt is a twin, with his brother Mike, I can remember many days where we would walk down the halls next to Mike and people would ask if Matt and I were the brothers. And indeed we are, just not blood ones. I've been known to spend entire weekends in Barrie just so I can go for breakfast with him on one day to catchup. The Pancake Factory is our current favourite. Matt has been a constant inspiration for me in working hard, persevering, and being a father.
Bridesmaid + OFFICIANT (!!!)
From small group leader to mentor to BEST FRIEND AND WEDDING OFFICIANT! Michelle is one of the most honest, authentic and strongest women I know. Our friendship started over 10 years ago at church, as she led a weekly women's small group. Over the years, we became VERY close. Together we have travelled East Canada and continue to be eachothers cheerleaders. Today, she continuously prays with me, cries with me and celebrates with me! I always dreamed of having Michelle officiate my wedding and it SUCH an honour to have her do it. Ps. How cool is it that my (other) best friend is going to be marrying us!!!?!?!

I met Jake through Josiah, the Best Man, probably 5 years ago. He was outgoing, quick-witted, and very much in my bubble. It took me a little while to get over that, but now Jake's 'presence' doesn't feel overwhelming to me, now it feels like love. Lots and lots of Jake Love. Here's the truth: I wish I could always be the kind of guy that I am around Jake. He has a truly rare quality of bringing out the best version of everyone he interacts with and for that I am forever grateful. As they say, iron sharpens iron. And I had the fortune of sharpening iron with Jake for over a year while we were business partners at Rainforest Digital. Oh, and Roberta caught the bouquet at Jake's wedding in the summer of 2019 -- the last wedding we went to before I proposed!
Bridesmaid
Sarah is one of the most kind-hearted and strongest women that I know! Her sweet and tender spirit radiates in any room. And, if you've heard her sing, you will also agree that not only does she look like an angel but SOUNDS like an angel too. Our friendship has grown over the last couple of years and I am so thankful it has! I can always count on Sarah to keep it real and offer practical, useful and emotional support. She is also INCREDIBLE at keeping secrets, as she was one of the few people that knew about Evan's secret proposal and managed to still be cool, calm and collected for over 6 months!!! Ps. Sarah was the one who encouraged me to go on a date with Evan!!!!! In other words, Sarah + Josiah = Cupid!!
Groomsman
I met Matt just a couple years ago; he is married to Roberta's sister, Alessandra and they started dating around the same time Roberta and I did. Matt is a down-to-earth fun-loving guy and is soon to be my brother! I've never had one of those, so I'm excited to have someone to pick on. I mean, hang out with! He and Alessandra can actually always be counted on to crash mine and Roberta's date night and come hang out for some gluten-free grub. Oh, and it has to be lactose-free too. We basically just have water and lettuce with them actually. But it's worth it for the company and the fun we all have together!
