Evan and Peyton will be married in a small ceremony in Banff, Alberta on August 7th. We are so excited to celebrate our marriage with you at our reception in Irvine, Ca. There will be an open bar, dinner, games, and dancing.
Evan and I met by being invited by mutual friends to a group outing at the Orange County Fair. Not knowing at the time, but both of us almost didn't take our friends up on the invite. Good thing we did, as something special began on that Wednesday night back in 2013. Evan quickly won me over with his caring demeanor and fun personality. It was obvious that we had quite a few things in common right away. Later that week we had our first date and the rest has been quite an adventure. I've taken him on adventures around the world, hes taken me in fast race cars on track, we've danced at countless concerts and music festivals, and have enjoyed the simple pleasures of being each others best friend.
We were a few days into our road trip around the beautiful land of Scotland when we decided to take the ferry over to Isle of Skye. Evan let me know he had planned dinner for us that evening and one of the castles that was on my list to visit was close to our dinner spot. After checking into our airbnb we drove over to Dunvegan Castle. At this point it had been raining most of the day and it was still drizzling when we arrived at the Castle. Within 15 minutes the rain cleared up and we were walking around the gardens. As we came up to a waterfall in the gardens, Evan got down on one knee and proposed! We even had a surprise photo shoot after at the front of the castle. The evening was finished with a tasting menu dinner at the Three Chimneys, a world-renowned Scottish restaurant on Isle of Skye. Evan did well!
