Flight
Flying into Portland: You can book flights to the Portland Jetport (PWM) which is unlikely to have many direct flights, but is a convenient, smaller airport. This airport is about a 1.5 hour drive from the venue. Flying into Boston: Flights into Boston Logan Airport (BOS) are likely more convenient (direct flights, more options, and sometimes cheaper), but is a bit further from the venue. It is about a 3 hour drive from the airport to our venue. You can also take a bus or train from the Boston Airport to the Portland Airport (detailed below) and drive from there.
Train
For folks traveling from Boston or flying into Boston, here are some other options to get up to Maine that don't require you to get a rental car in Massachusetts. Bus: Concord Coach lines leaves from Logan Airport and South Station and goes straight to the Portland Transportation Terminal. From there, it's a short taxi ride into Portland. Tickets for the bus can be purchased in advance on the website (https://concordcoachlines.com/) or same day. The seats are first come, first serve, so you don't have to select a specific time. Train: The Amtrak Downeaster train leaves from North Station and arrives in the Portland Transportation Terminal. It's a bit more comfortable than the bus, but takes longer and there are fewer trips per day. Tickets for the train must be purchased for a specific time.

We have many folks who are driving to our wedding; some from close by Portland and others from as far as Iowa and Florida. We know that many people are flying to our wedding and hope that this carpool can help those who are interested. You can participate in two ways: 1. If you have a car and you are willing to take on extra passengers headed to the wedding, you can add your car, destination, and # of seats. 2. If you do not have a car, you can see cars that have offered up a carpool and take one of the seats to join them on their journey! You can offer your car up for a carpool, or join an existing one at this link: http://www.groupcarpool.com/t/ix3nob
