Nicole and Evan met at Liberty University in 2021 during a volleyball game. Evan’s competitive nature and Nicole’s more easygoing approach made them an unexpected match, but their conversations quickly developed into a genuine friendship. After several months of getting to know each other, they began dating on January 17, 2022. Throughout their relationship, they have consistently supported one another through important milestones. Evan encouraged Nicole through both her undergraduate and graduate counseling programs, and Nicole has stood by him as he pursues his goal of becoming a basketball coach. Nicole’s dog, Maggie, also became an unexpected but meaningful part of their journey—warming up to Evan immediately and now loving him just as much as she loves Nicole. A shared faith has been a steady foundation in their relationship. Nicole and Evan are grateful for the ways the Lord has guided their individual paths and their relationship, shaping them into the partners they are today. With gratitude for where they’ve been and excitement for what’s ahead, they look forward to beginning their next chapter together as husband and wife.
