We’re getting married!

Since the beginning of our relationship we have shared many special moments at this very small beach in Friendship, Maine. During moments of overwhelm, loss, sadness, moments of achievements, gratitude and family time we would return to this beach for refuge or celebration. Always leaving better than we arrived. The air, sun and water washing us clean. This day was no exception. We arrived under the guise of searching for sea glass. Evan found one special piece to present to me, he had hidden it under rock and sand for the last 5 summers since our first visit. What was once a piece of glass was now a smooth and beautiful treasure. He then said he had one more special surprise and knelt on his left knee asking for my hand in marriage. It was a gorgeous sunset as we whisked off from that special spot to tell family and friends. We are registered on Zola and Amazon.
