Bailey, CO is located at over 8,000ft elevation. As a reminder for our guests, please drink plenty of water and be careful with your alcohol consumption - particularly for those coming from sea level. The altitude makes a big difference in how much food & water you need (more, lots of carbs & water), and how quickly alcohol hits you!
While we love your kids, we kindly ask that this is an adult focused event. Babies in arms are absolutely welcome, and we've made an exception for a few close family members. We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you!
We’re calling it Mountain Formal (not a real thing). That means dressed-up but not fussy. Think suit without a tie, dresses or outfits that feel celebratory. Not something you'd wear to a black tie wedding in NYC, but definitely a step up from everyday casual. The ceremony and festivities will be partially outdoors in the Colorado mountains, so footwear that works on dirt paths is a plus. Evan will be in a suit with no tie. Mikayla will be wearing a wedding dress (surprise!). We want you to feel good, look good, and be able to dance, move, and hang out outside comfortably. FYI it can be a little chilly at night!
Nope! As much as we'd love an excuse to rope everyone into our favorite activities, that would be a bit much. If you're staying at the camp, bedding will be provided. Please bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and other toiletries. Don't forget a towel! Pack plenty of sunscreen since we'll be spending time outside, and bring some kind of athletic shoes for a fun, active day. Don’t worry, we won’t make you run (unless you choose to join our optional pre-wedding morning run)! Of note, food is provided for the weekend with the exception of lunch on Saturday. Please bring light snacks or whatever you would like to eat. There is food available in town, about 20 minutes away.
