El Camaleón Golf Course at Mayakoba
If you're friends with Evan, I am assuming you will be just as enthusiastic about golfing as he is! Named ‘El Camaleón’ for its spectacular, ever-changing views, Mayakoba’s par 72 championship course made history by hosting 16 PGA TOUR championships, two LIV Golf League events, and an upcoming LPGA event in May 2025. Please book your tee time ahead of time.
Restaurant Recommendations
Make reservations ahead of time! Zapote Bar- located at Rosewood, this bar is #11 of North America's 50 Best Bars! Great drinks and atmosphere. Agave Azul- located at Rosewood, head over after Zapote Bar for some sushi. Saffron- located at Banyan Tree, some of the best Pad Thai we have ever had! Tauro Steakhouse- located at Fairmont, this came highly recommended.

Should you stay for a few extra days, we recommend exploring the other on-site hotels including Rosewood and Banyan Tree! Utilize the golf cart services to ride over for a cocktail or a dinner reservation or use the complimentary bikes to explore the entire property!

Mayakoba is built on canals and offers boat transportation through the mangrove-filled jungle! Take a boat between resorts or you can take a boat tour of the property.
