Our Story

It was July 7, 2017 in Providence, RI when fate brought us together at a friend's birthday party. We met at a club of all places (not exactly our scene!). What started as casual conversation while waiting for others to arrive evolved into an evening of board games that neither of us wanted to end. While Lydia was already settled on Cleveland as her next home, Evan had been determined to live anywhere but Ohio. Yet somehow, after meeting Lydia, Cleveland suddenly became the only place he wanted to be. Since that first night, we've explored 13 countries together, co-founded a soccer league, and built a life where our paths keep converging in the most beautiful ways. The adventure continued in Iceland, where after hiking a glacier and exploring an ice cave, Evan proposed on Diamond Beach. Almost 8 years after that Providence party, our support for one another and excitement to grow together remains as strong as ever—and we can't wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you!
