We might be biased, but Bellingham is a great place to visit! Below is a link to a map of Bellingham neighborhoods and a list of our favorites. There are hotels, AirBnbs, and bed and breakfasts throughout! 1. Fairhaven is super cute and sort of a mini downtown. It is very walkable to parks, shops and restaurants 2. South Hill is a beautiful historic neighborhood with ocean views. It is fairly walkable to parks, shops and restaurants. 3. Happy Valley and South are quiet, pretty neighborhoods that are fairly walkable to parks, shops and restaurants. 4. Sehome is a beautiful historic neighborhood with ocean views. It is close to Western Washington University and downtown Bellingham. It is fairly walkable to parks, shops and restaurants. 5. City Center is downtown Bellingham. It is busier than other neighborhoods, but is very walkable to shops and restaurants. 6. York, Lettered Streets, Columbia, and Cornwall are all pretty, historic neighborhoods that are fairly walkable to restaurants and some parks. 7. Silver Beach or Lake Whatcom are good options if you want to stay a little further out of town and potentially on the lake! They are very pretty neighborhoods with access to trails and Lake Whatcom. 8. We live in Samish which is quiet and walking distance to trails, but maybe not the most exciting spot compared to other locations!

Our party will occur at Larrabee State Park, where the steep flank of Chuckanut Mountain meets the Salish Sea. Activities in the park include swimming, mountain biking, hiking, and paddling. The park is located along scenic Chuckanut Drive, which runs from Bellingham south to Samish Bay and the Bow/Edison area in Skagit County. There is a small campground with limited reservable sites.
