Cocktail/formal attire preferred, but feel free to dress in colonial New England period-appropriate attire if you so desire! Parts of the evening may be spent outdoors so please dress appropriate for New England fall weather and be cautious about footwear choices.
Please arrive at least a few minutes before the start of the ceremony at 5:00 PM so that you have enough time to find a seat. it may take a few minutes to get from the parking lot to the ceremony site, so please plan accordingly. Old Sturbridge Village is open to the public until 4:00PM so do not arrive before then.
There is plenty of free parking in the main Old Sturbridge Village parking lot. There will be a horse-drawn carry-all available to take guests from the entrance to the ceremony, and from the ceremony site to the reception.
We think you'll have more fun if you come without the kids, but we understand that not everyone has childcare options available, especially if you're traveling from far away. Just please kindly notify us in advance if you need to bring your children so that we can accommodate them.
If your invitation was addressed to you "and guest" you may bring a date, just please make sure to RSVP for them with their name and meal choice.
We will have both vegetarian/vegan and meat-based entrees and appetizers. If you have other restrictions, please let us know as soon as possible when you RSVP so we can be in touch with Old Sturbridge Village and see how we can accommodate you.
There will be an open bar during cocktail hour, then a full service cash bar will be available for the rest of the night.
Our RSVP deadline is September 16th, so please make sure to RSVP by that date to guarantee you get a seat and a meal
