Our Story
I (Kyle) showed up late and sweaty to our first date. I’d been riding my bike a lot the summer Evan and I met and decided to bike to the wine bar. On the way, I hit a pothole and ended up with a flat tire. I messaged Evan that I’d be a little late. I think it was a good ice breaker. We spent the rest of the evening bonding over our shared love of the great outdoors. From the first glass of wine, it felt so easy to be around one another.
After our third date, we hung out the whole weekend and never looked back.
Since that weekend nearly four years ago, we have had countless adventures together. Our trips have taken us around the world and all over the Eastern Sierras.
In September 2024, we welcomed a new addition to our little family—our dog, Griffith. He has been a challenge but he has taught us so much about working in a partnership and how to support one another. He’s also been such a joy to bring into our lives.
We’re excited to continue building a life of adventure together.
