IMPORTANT TIPS! PLEASE READ!
• Everything on the island books up very quickly!!!! Especially this time of year. We highly recommend reserving accommodations and golf carts ASAP if you plan on coming. • Location of Accommodations: We recommend AVOIDING accommodations on the north end of Elbow Cay, in "the settlement", as transportation to wedding events can be more complicated from that area as golf carts are not allowed. • Reserve Your Golf Cart Early: Golf carts are the ONLY form of transportation on the island and availability is limited. Again, we strongly encourage guests to book their golf cart rental as early as possible!! • Island Terrain: Elbow Cay is a charming and historic island, but it does have some physical considerations. Guests should be comfortable with climbing boat dock ladders, navigating steep paths, and walking on uneven or unfinished ground surfaces in some areas. • Climate & Restaurants: Many restaurants and bars on the island are open-air with little or no air conditioning, so lightweight, breathable clothing is recommended. • Generator Recommendation: If you are renting a house, we recommend choosing one with a generator. Power outages can occur on the island from time to time, and homes with generators provide a more comfortable stay during those periods.
