We first met freshman year of college in class, where we were paired together for a project. We realized early on how much we had in common: a drive to push ourselves, big ambitions for the future, and a shared sense of “nerdy” curiosity about the world around us. Our first date was at a football game and dinner, despite the fact that Evan was still in a sling from a rugby injury. From that day on, it just felt easy, like we’d known each other far longer than we had.
