The Blackwater Creek Trail is one of the most popular trails in the city. Following along the winding Blackwater Creek and built along an abandoned railway bed, this 3-mile paved trail is perfect for jogging, walking, or biking.
Established in 1806, this restored 27-acre public cemetery features graves of veterans from every major war from the American Revolution to Vietnam and five museums. The cemetery is also an arboretum of historic plants with specimens botanically labeled, including over 425 antique and heirloom roses, medicinal herbs, a butterfly garden and lotus pond, and over 700 shrubs and ornamental trees.
