Evan and Jordan met in college at the University of North Texas. Evan came to a Phi Lamb event (Jordan’s Sorority) on the Square near the Courthouse, and they got introduced! After 9 months of talking, they met each other’s parents at a UNT football game. A few weeks later, Evan asked Jordan out for dinner at Chuy’s. Jordan was very nervous about the date and Evan was excited and ready to chow down on Mexican food! They continued to hang out throughout the weeks. A month later, Evan asked Jordan to be his girlfriend on October 24th, 2019!! They have been together ever since!! 🫶🏻

Evan told Jordan about reservations at a restaurant in Fort Worth (which never happens) and to wear her favorite outfit. Evan picked Jordan up at her house. Jordan’s parents were normal as could be. Evan drove Jordan to Denton (which she quickly saw when he pulled the address up on his phone). They walked around Downtown Denton. They walked into Recycled Books and Jordan ran to the vinyl records, she grabbed a Harry Styles vinyl (of course!) After 10 minutes of looking at the records, Evan gently grabbed Jordan’s arm and said “We’ve gotta go!” Evan proposed to Jordan at the spot they first met. Evan and Jordan’s friends and family came out behind cars and trees and celebrated their engagement with them! :)
