Yes, the ceremony and reception will be at the same location, Oceana's Gardens. This is a beautiful outdoor venue located 10 minutes northeast of Boulder, Colorado.
The ceremony will be fully outdoors, and the reception will be within walking distance, underneath a tent. Ladies, you will be walking on grass, so choose your shoes accordingly!
You can expect the typical weather this time of year to be sunny and warm, with low humidity. Temperatures may be around mid to upper-80s during the day, with evenings getting down to the low 60s. In July, there is a possibility of afternoon rain showers, but they usually do not last beyond an hour.
Elevated, summer formal. A touch of whimsy is not only welcomed, but encouraged! What does "touch of whimsy" mean? Have a little fun with it! You can add drapery, gloves, feathers, ruffles, bows, etc. We suggest wearing shoes that are grass-friendly. Block heels, wedges, or flats for women. Dress shoes for men.
