The dress code is Creative Black Tie Optional. This means tuxedos and gowns are preferred, but other forms of highly formal attire are welcome. We want our guests to show up and show OUT! Make it fancy, but have some fun with it.
No. If your children are traveling with you to Champaign, please make child care arrangements; we'll be happy to help you do so locally.
We've decided to not have a formal sit-down dinner. We'll be serving light hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour and heavy hors d'oeuvres all throughout the reception, as well as dessert. We promise, no one will go hungry!
Thank you to all who were able to visit our registry and purchase a gift, we so appreciate your generosity! We do ask that no gifts be physically brought to the wedding in Illinois as we will be traveling home to California on Sunday and will be unable to pack extra items. If you'd like to bring a card, we will have a card box at the welcome table.
While there will be enough seating for everyone throughout the venue, there will be no formal seating chart. We want our guests to meander and mingle as the evening goes on.
Our reception will feature a live jazz combo led by Josh Baumgartner as well as DJ'd music. Bring your dancing shoes because the entire library is our ballroom.
