Q & A

If you have any questions other than those listed here, please don't hesitate to reach out to Hazel at 920.809.8858/hhertting@gmail.com
Question

Arrival?

Answer

The Monona Terrace rooftop will be closed off for our private event starting at 4:30pm, so plan to arrive anytime after that! The ceremony will start at 5pm.

Question

Attire?

Answer

Feel free to wear whatever makes you feel good! For those who want a little more direction: some variation of “evening casual”, dressy but not formal, dresses, jumpsuits, slacks and a button-up, suit coat if you would like. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outside in an uncovered location with the reception in an air conditioned area just a few floors below. Dress comfortably, we’re just happy to have you there!

Question

Parking?

Answer

On-site parking vouchers for the Monona Terrace will be available at the reception and are good until 1 AM. Overnight parking is available for $16. The entrances are located at 101 W Wilson St Madison, WI 53703 or along the Northbound side of John Nolen Drive. https://www.mononaterrace.com/directions-and-parking/

Question

Transportation?

Answer

We have setup Uber and Lyft events which offer a $25 credit for use between 3 PM - 3 AM the day of the wedding. Download either app and then text Hazel or Evan for the codes or scan the QR codes located at the favors table during the reception. These can be used to get to/from most places in downtown Madison and almost every location that guests listed on their RSVPs. A map of the covered locations can be found here: https://i.imgur.com/K6NVFAK.png

Question

RSVP?

Answer

RSVPs have been finalized. If you need to change your response, please contact Hazel or Evan directly.

Question

COVID-19?

Answer

Making our wedding a safe, fun, and memorable experience for us and all of our guests is our top priority! Masks are not currently required in Dane county, so guests are free to wear them or not as they wish. Please help us keep our other guests healthy by getting yourself tested before traveling if you are experiencing any symptoms. If you test positive for COVID-19 on or after June 21st, 2022, please stay home and let Hazel/Evan know so we can adjust catering and other venue planning accordingly. Many airlines and hotels, including those in our room blocks, can help make arrangements for cancellations and refunds/travel credits in the event that you are not well enough to travel.

Question

Kids?

Answer

Your little ones are welcome to come. We will have a kids meal option (cheese pizza!) and the whole evening will be family friendly, though we will not have entertainment or activities planned specifically for kids separate from the adults. If your RSVP didn't include your kids, please let us know so we can add them right away. Reach out to Hazel at 920.809.8858/hhertting@gmail.com.
