Who would have thought that Evan would meet his future wife, Hannah, simply from helping her mom, Mary Ann, with her brand-new Acura? Following an easy Bluetooth setup tutorial, Evan was actually being hand-chosen as the perfect fit for Hannah without him knowing. Several hours after the interaction with Mary Ann, her boyfriend, Ken, a co-worker of Evan's, asked Evan about his relationship status and said that Mary Ann thought he'd be a suitable fit for Hannah. Evan agreed, and gave his number to Ken to pass along, leaving Hannah to make the first move ... which she succeeded at. Hannah and Evan instantly connected and agreed to a coffee date the following Sunday. After a few days, many long text conversations, and a 4-hour first phone call to hear each other's voices for the first time, a first-first date was set for Friday at Jersey-famous, DeLorenzo's for their tomato pie. It was on this date that Evan tried to flex his Chemistry knowledge by requesting the final exam that Hannah had written for her high school students. Even with only 5 multiple-choice questions, Evan failed, despite trying with all his might (which Hannah admired greatly). Conversation flowed naturally as stories, jokes, and pepperoni pizza were shared. When the plates were clear and the glasses were empty, Hannah and Evan wanted a new adventure as Hannah insisted she wasn't ready for the date to end just yet. Their spontaneous spirits led them on a several-hour trip to Point Pleasant. They sat on the beach and talked about life while watching seagulls pick at trash. On their way back to the car, Evan saw an ice cream shop and told Hannah that they had to go to Skipper Dipper, a great ice cream place he knew ... in LBI. This 8-hour first date was just the first of many adventures for this happy couple. Three months later, the same spot in Point Pleasant where Hannah and Evan shared their first kiss was where Evan got on one knee to ask for Hannah's hand in marriage. He is excited to have found the future Mrs. @ Acura.
