Enjoy some photos from our travels over the years and memorable moments!
The first time Eva met Eva's family at Long's Park
Grace, Evan's cousin, forced him to take a photo with Eva. Luckily you can't tell that backstory from the photo
Eva on her and Evan's first date at Rita's
The first bouquet Eva ever got Evan
Eva on her and Evan's kayak date at Laurel Lake
Eva was even able to capture a photo of camera shy Evan
Evan took Eva to a sunflower farm for a photoshoot and to make bouquets for each other and their mothers
Eva was able to tear Evan away from work for a day to visit her childhood vacation spot, Cape May, New Jersey.
Eva was finally able to convince Evan to take photos of the two of them... at a cost

Over Christmas break in 2023, Evan took Eva on their first big trip together to the European Christmas markets. They went to Cologne, Nuremberg, Basel, Strasbourg, Paris, Bruges, and Brussels.
Eva enjoyed taking pictures of the pigeons (rock doves) at the train stations in Europe
Clock tower in Cologne (where Eva got food poisoning)
Cathedral in Cologne
Cathedral in Nuremberg
Most of the Germans thought Evan was German based on how well he spoke! Most of the French thought Eva was a stupid American
Christmas themed Ferris wheel in Nuremberg
Town hall in Nuremberg
We stopped for sweet treats - a pancake filled with Nutella and banana and a
After a bout of food poisoning, Eva feels well enough to eat in Nuremberg
We didn't love Basel's Christmas Market but we did love the rooftop terrace at the hotel and the bottled Coke
Eva looked like this for most of the Europe trip while Evan was regretting not bringing shorts
Our best dinner of the trip was by far the meal we had in the hotel restaurant in Basel
Not as cool as Strasbourg's, but a pretty grand Christmas tree in Basel
Cathedral in Strasbourg
Our favorite market Christmas tree was in Strasbourg
Then we headed off to the city of love - Paris!
The food in Paris wasn't great but our hotel room was a step up from the shoe box in Strasbourg!
We could see the Eiffel Tower sparkle from our hotel room
Bruges was our favorite place of the trip. We loved all of the canals!
Our stay in Bruges was on a canal front and we had our choice of bridges to enter downtown
Eva's favorite date was when Evan surprised her and took her to ColorMeMine to paint pottery
Evan made a plate based on the Northern Lights in Iceland, his favorite place and sight (second to Eva)
Next, we set off for Iceland!
The Rainbow Road in the capitol of Iceland, Reykjavik
Eva absolutely hated this yogurt and Evan ended up eating it
Eva really loved the murals done on the buildings in Reykjavik
On our first night, we stayed in a Bubble Hotel...
And we saw the Northern Lights! The only time we saw them the entire trip due to the heavy snow.
The Icelandic horses seemed to always be on vacation in their paddocks
The OG Geyser!
The European-North American Continental Divide
Kirkjugolf - what some theorize to have previously been a church floor. The hexagonal shapes come from the tops of basalt columns
Gulfoss - the most powerful waterfall in Europe!
Gullfoss is one of the most visited waterfalls in North America - the other is Niagara Falls
Shoutout Siggi for being the best tour guide (and geologist and professional poker player).
We tried ice climbing in ice caves! Eva fell into a frozen river.
Minutes before disaster
Eva learning that two glaciers merging toward each other can destroy an entire mountain range
Godafoss!
Another angle of Godafoss
The stairs to the top of this site was the most frustrating experience Evan and Eva went through during the trip - at least it was pretty.
We had delicious black crust pizza - highly recommend!
We saw so many tourists almost get torn out to sea by the current.
Nature's l'Arc de Triomphe
Iceland's black sand beach is one of the most dangerous places on Earth. Therefore, it is also where the dumbest tourists are.
Glacier toe!
Vestrahorn!
We kept thinking about how much better this would be as a Walmart parking lot.
Akureyri's famous heart shaped stop lights
Seconds after this, Evan uncontrollably slid down a snowy hill (Eva told him to because the stairs were covered and she made it down fine).
Eva made Evan turn around so she could get a picture of this sign
Evan's photography skills at work + Eva's amateur modeling skills
We had to skip our last night's stay in northwestern Iceland, but luckily we got to see the third volcanic eruption in Keflavik!
To celebrate our first anniversary, we went to French Polynesia!
The view from our overwater bungalow in Bora Bora
