We're Getting Married!

Our fateful introduction began when we matched on Facebook Dating! After we "swiped right", we hit it off right away and settled on a day for our first date: Valentine's Day! On Valentine's Day, we met in the Capitol St parking garage and ate Pho at Saigon's Corner. After hours of talking, laughing, and hanging out, it didn't take us very long to realize we shared a special connection. The rest is history! We went to Altoona to celebrate the 4th of July with our families! The plan was to sit in the grass area near the casino and watch Adventureland's fireworks show. During the show Evan pulled out a beautiful box he made himself and gave it to me. He asked me to flip the box over and it said: "Erica and Evan 07/04/2024, followed by two boxes that said 'yes' or 'no'. " Evan then had me open the box and the ring was inside. He then asked me to marry him and I said "yes" as we shared a hug. I may be biased, but I'd say that's pretty romantic. We are so excited to begin this new chapter of our lives together!
