We’re getting married!!

Evan and Ellie met their junior year of high school after Ellie moved to Morgantown. After persistent bothering and prompting from a friend, Evan realized that Ellie was actually interested in him and they began to talk every day. Spending all day at school and basically every weekend together their friendship grew fast as they began their journey of becoming best friends, wanting to spend all their time together. After around a year of dating they both knew they wanted to marry each other but realized since they were both going to college it would be better to wait (which began a long, but still amazing waiting period). Evan asked Ellie to marry her this past summer after a hike at Cooper's Rock with a gift he had made her from their first Valentine's Day together, and of course she said yes! They’ve been together through the highs and lows of being college students and are excited to both graduate together in May to celebrate finishing their time at WVU together before their wedding! Evan and Ellie started dating at a time when they were both very immature in their faith. However, it has been such a joy and so fulfilling for them to grow together in their respective relationships with Jesus over the past 4.5 years. They have pushed each other to grow and depend on God, trying to give godly advice that will ultimately bring them closer to the Lord. They are so thankful that He brought them together and has been so faithful to them. They’re also so excited to see how God moves in their lives moving forward as they draw near to Him in this next stage of their life. They hope to live out the example of Christ and His redeeming and reconciling love to the Church and would love the support of their friends and family in doing so.
