Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Dorothy Kafka and Evan Holober

Vizcaya Museum & Gardens

3251 S Miami Ave, Miami, FL 33129 The Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is the former villa and estate of businessman James Deering. The Vizcaya estate includes a historic mansion, extensive Italian Renaissance gardens, and native woodland landscape. It is a great place visit for a few hours if you have an extra day to spend in Miami!

Crandon Beach

6747 Crandon Boulevard, Key Biscayne, FL 33149 If you want to visit the beach but don't want to trek all the way to Miami Beach, check out Crandon Beach on Key Biscayne! Note- "Crandon Parking Lot #4" is the best waypoint if you are looking for somewhere to park.

Books & Books

3409 Main Highway, Miami, FL 33133

We've been to this bookstore countless times and absolutely love it here! It's only a few blocks away from the Mayfair.

Monty's Coconut Grove

2550 South Bayshore Drive, Miami, FL 33133

This restaurant has an outdoor tiki hut vibe and is right on the water. Go for some fresh fish and a drink.

Level 6 Rooftop

3480 Main Highway, Miami, FL 33133

We recommend checking out this hip, fun drink spot for the view of Coconut Grove!

Bayshore Club Bar & Grill

3391 Pan American Drive, Miami, FL 33133

Located next to Miami's historic City Hall, the Bayshore Club is a great place to grab food and drinks on the water.

El Bagel

3015 Grand Avenue, Miami, FL 33133

We love this bagel spot! They have a great selection of bagel sandwiches, and it's right across the street from the Mayfair.

Fireman Derek’s Bake Shop

3435 Main Highway, Miami, FL 33133

We love this pie and cake shop. When we lived in the Grove, we would regularly walk over for a slice.

Salt & Straw

3015 Grand Avenue, Miami, FL 33133

Dorothy recommends the chocolate gooey brownie flavor, and Evan recommends trying one of their more unique flavors.
