Day of the Dead Celebrations

Day of the Dead Celebrations

Mexico

Dia de los muertos (Day of the dead) is celebrated each year in Mexico from November 1st - 2nd. This day is an intimate family tradition and is observed as a moment to remember and honor those we have lost. Festivities include parades, food, dancing, and honoring lost loved ones with candles and flowers. (The Disney Movie 'Coco' is actually a good look into Day of the Dead celebrations and traditions. Feel free to go watch :) )
