What's the deal with staying at the Goat Lodge?

Answer

First of all no sleeping in the barn with animals, otherwise there are various sleeping arrangements in main house, several neato trailers, two teepes, and a bunk house. Space is available FRI Night to Mon morning, Please contact Evan or Chris directly for lodging arrangements

What are we doing the rest of the time?

Answer

Well we like options.... check out "Things to Do" FRIDAY - Drive safely down to Salida - Mountain Goat Lodge check in and hangout 3pm-5ish - Reception Dinner in town 7pm SATURDAY - Morning yoga possible goat involvement - Enjoy Downtown Salida at your leisure - Watch some farm animals also at you leisure - Play some lawn games and sip some drinks before ceremony - Super Cute and quick ceremony 5pm whoop whoop - Eat, party and dance the night away SUNDAY - Continental "Lincoln style" breakfast - exploring multiple outdoor activities and options, check out things to do. After several scientific surveys we will pick a favorite or two. - more to come MONDAY - Late check out of MGL 10am

We unfortunately cannot accommodate children. Family with new born babies will be the exception. Thank you ❤️

Is this dog friendly?

Answer

You know how we love dogs and they are usually invited to the party but due to the nature of the goat farm please find a sitter for your furry friends 🐕

What to wear to the ceremony?

Answer

We are fortunate to have our ceremony out where the wild life roam (the goat pasture). Women should plan on wearing sun dresses or jumpers. No heels ladies, I would suggest sandals. Men should plan on wearing “smart casual” per Chris. Be aware that there are some cactus out in the field so be mindful of what you wear and where you step. There will be a wood dance floor!
