It looks like the ceremony ends at 3 PM, but the reception doesn't start until 5! Is anything planned in between the events?

Answer

In addition to traveling to the reception venue, the time between the ceremony and reception will be used to chat and take photos with guests. Consider stopping in at the Tenderloin Museum on your way to Press Club.

How do I get to Press Club from City hall after the ceremony?

Answer

Press Club and City hall are about 1 mile apart, or a 15-20 minute walk. Guests can either walk, or elect to take an alternative form of transportation (e.g., Lyft or Uber). If you're planning to walk, please remember to bring comfortable walking attire.

No particular reason, although it's very funny.

What will the weather be like in San Francisco in November?

Answer

Pretty cool, by Bay Area standards. The average temperature in November is 50-60 degrees, so make sure that you bring layers. November is also (historically) the beginning of the rainy season in the Bay Area, but we don't expect rain on the day of the ceremony. As always, make sure to check the weather the day of.

Is there a dress code for the ceremony?

Answer

Semi-formal or "cocktail" attire is appreciated. Essentially, anything more formal than jeans works!

Do you have any guidelines concerning COVID-19?

Answer

We do, thanks for asking. We ask that all guests in attendance have received their up-to-date COVID vaccinations if possible, and that anyone who has tested positive for COVID within 5 days of the wedding refrain from attending. If you have symptoms of COVID or any other illness, please stay home!
